Wire seal gaskets are compressed between a pair of mating male and female wire seal flanges to provide a vacuum-tight seal rated for ultra-high vacuum processes at 1×10-13 Torr and temperatures up to 450°C. Use a new copper gasket each time you install a Wire Seal Flange.
