The heater-optimized multiport valve is equipped with ANCORP’s patent pending Heat-Thru technology that enables maximum heating of the ball when a heating element is used. Specialized Heat-Thru components and a thermally conductive vacuum grease transfer heat efficiently from a heating element through the valve body to the ball while minimizing heat loss through the valve’s stem and actuator. Efficient heating of the ball helps prevent byproduct buildup and deposition inside the ball, thus reducing costly maintenance and downtime.

Take advantage of benefits of:

  • Time reduction
    • 30%-50% less time for the ball to reach the set point temperature
  • Reduced energy consumption
    • Uses 33% to 50% less energy to heat the ball
  • Increased applied heat on the ball
    • 50% to 100% more efficient than the standard design

Our patent-pending Heat-Thru technology excels in applications such as abatement, subfab, and deposition where efficient heating is critical to reducing condensation, inside the valve. Additionally, FKM or FFKM O-rings, designed for heater jacket operating temperatures of 150°C and 180°C, ensure compatibility with high temperature processes

Features

  • Heat-Thru Technology – patent-pending technology optimizing internal valve conduction and heating efficiency
  • Patented Extended Life (XL) valve stem – stabilized stem seal eliminates atmospheric intrusion into the process line and provides high cycle life and reliable high temperature performance with FFKM O-rings
  • Fully ported ball – maximum conductance with no restriction in flow path reduces particle buildup
  • Evac holes on ball and blank end caps – valve interior always under vacuum, prevents virtual leaks
  • Recessed fasteners and flat surfaces – improved heat transfer from heater jacket
  • Faster servicing – valve stem housing can be swapped out in the field
  • ISO 5211 mounting pattern – compatible with all modern valve actuators
  • NAMUR VDI/VDE 3845 compliant stem detail – compatible with all modern valve position indicators
