Description

This alternative seal for the CF flange system is a vacuum grade fluorocarbon elastomer gasket that is compressed between the knife-edges of two CF flanges to create a seal capable of achieving high vacuum pressure. Fluorocarbon (FKM) gaskets have a temperature range of –20 ̊C up to 150 ̊C (200 ̊C intermittent use). These gaskets are precisely lathe cut, de-burred, cleaned, and packaged to eliminate and prevent shedding or rips. CF Fluorocarbon (FKM) gaskets may be reused many times for the reinstallation of CF sealing assemblies.
