This alternative seal for the CF flange system is a vacuum grade fluorocarbon elastomer gasket that is compressed between the knife-edges of two CF flanges to create a seal capable of achieving high vacuum pressure. These gaskets are precisely lathe cut, de-burred, cleaned, and packaged to eliminate and prevent shedding or rips.
