VAT Vacuum Angle Valves

Vacuum angle valves are made of a body, actuator, and internal poppet. This internal poppet is also the cause of the valve’s second namesake – poppet valve. The actuator transports the poppet linearly. When the poppet is moved toward the top of the valve, the internal body cavity is opened to the system, and flow is unimpeded. Once the actuator moves the poppet to the bottom of the valve, a seal compresses onto a sealing surface on the lower body of the valve creating a vacuum-tight seal and stopping the flow.

Poppet valves are available in two main designs: 90° angle and inline. We offer four standard series of VAT vacuum angle valves and inline poppet valves to cover a variety of vacuum applications and operating pressure ranges from rough vacuum through extreme ultra-high vacuum (XHV).

Angle Valves

The assortment of angled poppet valves available spans across each vacuum range, offering solutions for any application.

The Series 26.4 HV Aluminum Angle Valve is bellows sealed and suitable for high vacuum applications with particle sensitivity.

The Series 28.4 UHV Angle Valve is suitable for ultra-high vacuum applications.

The Series 54.1 Easy Close All Metal Angle Valve serves both ultra-high vacuum and extreme high vacuum conditions thanks to its all-metal sealing.

Inline Valve

The Series 26.5 HV Aluminum Inline Valve is bellows sealed and suitable for high vacuum applications with particle sensitivity.
