Screen mesh centering ring assemblies are useful in situations in which a vacuum system or instrument needs to be protected from contamination by particulate generated from outside the system or from within. The supportive metallic ring for these seals has a screen mesh insert covering the inner aperture with a standard mesh size of 72.
