Vacuum Elbows
Elbow fittings are constructed from curved tubing and flanged ends, designed to route tubing at 45°, 90°, and 180° turns within a system. This makes them the perfect solution for aligning two ports, similar to vacuum nipples, but they offer a distinct advantage when faced with space constraints and restrictive angles. ANCORP’s range of vacuum elbows covers a comprehensive range of sizes, degrees of bend, and flange styles suitable for routing flow.
ASA Elbows
ASA elbows are available in 45°, 90°, and 90° mitered configurations. ASA’s feature a sexed mating style with the range of available flanged elbow pairings reflecting this variability. Each bend offering of the ASA flanges is available in rotatable-fixed or fixed-fixed pairings. This ensures smooth integration with your existing system’s bolt-hole alignment.
ConFlat Elbows
Conflat flange elbows are available in four standard configurations: 45°, 90°, 90° mitered, and 90° mitered high conductance. Specialized variations specifically within the CF elbow range include mitered angle and high conductance. A mitered angle helps with turning space and costs in constrained systems. High-conductance elbows increase cross-sectional area through the bend, minimizing flow restriction in high-throughput applications.
CF elbows come equipped with a rotatable flange on each end to simplify bolt-hole alignment during installation. This ensures a secure, repeatable fit, even in systems with complex layouts or tight spatial constraints.
ISO Elbows
ISO elbows are a versatile solution with standard claw clamp sealing in QF and ISO-K (ISO-LF) styles. QF elbows have the largest standard range, accommodating 45°, 90°, 90° mitered, 90° long radius, and 180° return angles. ISO-K (ISO-LF) elbow standard options include 45°, 90°, and 90° mitered variations.
Mitered angles in ISO flanges allow for tighter turns at smaller centerlines. A long radius bend accommodates larger turning gaps without sacrificing conductance, as seen in mitered elbows. The special 180° elbow creates a routing option for returning to the direction of the first port.
Weldable Elbows
Weldable elbow components provide a flexible, permanent solution for custom vacuum system layouts. They are available in the widest range of configurations, including 45° radius, 45° tangent, 90° radius, 90° mitered, 90° mitered high conductance, 90° tangent, and 180° return styles. By welding these elbows directly into your stainless steel tubing or chamber wall, you can create precise angles and optimize conductance without introducing additional sealing surfaces or mechanical joints.
